Fortunately, as technology continues to be our go-to source for information and aid during this unexpected time, we’ve put together a list of mobile phones apps to highlight the types of support available in the palm of your hand.

Whether you’re looking for specific cancer information or you’re having difficulty sleeping, there’s a range of wellbeing support for anyone with a smart phone.

Becca

From the team at Breast Cancer Now, Becca is their breast cancer support app described as your pocket guide to moving forward.

The app provides daily supporthints and tips, as well as support for side effects of treatment to help you move forward after treatment.

Careology

This mobile app aims to support you along your entire cancer journey; before, during and post your cancer treatment and now with specialist COVID-19 updates.

Their smart technology allows you to manage and track your symptomsmanage medicationshare your status with family and friends and much more.

Headspace

This guided meditation and mindfulness app has seen success across the globe and teaches way to reduce anxiety and aid sleep.

During this time of global crisis, they’re offering a free collection called Weathering the Storm that includes meditationssleep and movement exercises.

Calm

With a motto of “Sleep more. Stress less. Live better” it’s easy to see why this is the world’s number one app for meditation.

Their great collection of natural scenes and sounds alongside video tutorials for exercise, sleep and meditation allow you to achieve the calm you seek.

Operating both as a website and mobile app for convenient OWise is specifically designed for people with breast cancer to do away with endless internet searches.

This intelligent app gives patients the tools to help those suffering from cancer related fatigue and help them get back to living their lives.

With a step-by-step programonline community and information centre of videos, tutorials and daily tips, this is an ideal support for anyone living with cancer.

WeGotYou

New to the app scene and created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this community volunteer network was designed to help those unable to leave the house.

Connecting the most vulnerable with volunteers in their local community, the app can assist with medication collectionsgrocery shopping or even a friendly conversation.

Better Help

Available both online and via their app, Better Help is the world’s largest counselling service that has helped nearly 1 million people.
