Online Cancer Services | Help and Support

With limited ability to experience face-to-face cancer care at the moment, many are unable to receive the support and advice they would normally get from support groups, coffee mornings or simple get-togethers.

Sharing your experiences in peer groups has always proven to help people and the expression “it’s good to talk” has never felt more important. The good news is there are many online support networks available offering the ability to chat to others in a similar position to yourself via forums and online chat groups. We’ve taken a look at just a few of those platforms and how they may be able to help you.

Cancer Support UK

As well as offering their Cancer Kits which includes a range of practical items, this charity organisation offers a peer support course for emotional support and encouragement.

Cancer Research UK – Cancer Chat

Covering a range of topics, the online forum allows people across the UK to share experiences and talk to one another to offer support.

Betterhelp

As the largest online provider of e-counselling, Betterhelp offers direct access to licensed and experienced psychologists, social workers and counsellors.

Breast Cancer Now
