Specialist palliative care unit providing support to people living with life-limiting conditions. It offers practical and emotional support services including pain and symptom management, complementary therapies, spiritual care and inpatient, outpatient services, and counselling and bereavement support to loved ones. Who

People living with life-limiting conditions, their carers and loved ones. Referral for admission is usually through the patient’s GP if the patient is at home. If the patient is an inpatient at QMC or City Hospital referral is done through the Hospital Palliative Care Team with their consultant’s approval
