It commissions services including LiveWell Dorset, a free service for adults in Poole, Bournemouth & Dorset who wish to improve their health and wellbeing, and NHS Health Checks - health check-ups for adults in England aged 40 to 74 designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, dementia and other conditions. Its services are shared across Dorset council and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) council.
